Sit on the Left side of the plane for the best views on flights from Terrace to Vancouver. You'll see the dramatic coastal geography and urban sprawl of Metro Vancouver as you descend. Notable sights include: North Shore Mountains (Grouse, Seymour, Cypress peaks visible on the left), Burrard Inlet (water body separating North Shore from downtown), Downtown Vancouver skyline (visible ahead and right during final approach), Gulf Islands (scattered islands visible in the Strait of Georgia during descent).

The flight from Terrace (YXT) to Vancouver International (YVR) takes Approximately 1 hour 15 minutes.

The flight path heads south-southwest over the Coastal Mountains, passing east of the Kitimat area and over Hecate Strait. You'll cross the rugged terrain of the central BC coast with numerous inlets, islands, and peaks. The Hazelton Mountains and Bulkley Valley lie to the east. As you approach the lower mainland, the terrain transitions from alpine to coastal forest, with the Strait of Georgia becoming visible about 30 minutes before landing. The flight crosses over the northern Gulf Islands before turning final for Vancouver.
