Sit on the Right side of the plane for the best views on flights from Amsterdam to Bangkok. The right side faces open agricultural land and the Gulf of Thailand coast. Notable sights include: Chao Phraya River meanders through central Bangkok, Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew compound (large white and gold complex visible from altitude), Bang Kachao green peninsula loop in the river, Bangkok urban grid extending to the horizon.
