Sit on the Right side of the plane for the best views on flights from Hanoi to Doha. The right side wins overall because the Hanoi departure offers genuinely spectacular views of the Red River delta and Hanoi city that are hard to beat, and during the cruise the right side also tracks closer to the Irrawaddy River valley in Myanmar and parts of the Bay of Bengal coastline. The Doha landing view on the left is excellent but shorter in duration.

A left-side seat on approach from the northeast gives views over the shallow turquoise waters of the Persian Gulf and the Doha corniche and downtown skyline. The right side faces inland toward the flat desert interior of Qatar. Notable sights include: Persian Gulf shallow turquoise waters, Doha downtown skyline and West Bay skyscraper cluster, Doha Corniche waterfront arc, Palm Tree Island and coastal reclamation areas.
