Marrakech to Lisbon flight path: RAK to LIS

Sit on the Right side of the plane for the best views on flights from Marrakech to Lisbon. While left seats offer excellent High Atlas views during takeoff, right seats provide superior scenery during the longer and more visually rewarding descent into Lisbon, including the Tagus estuary and Atlantic coastline. The landing views outweigh the takeoff advantage.

During takeoff from Menara (RAK), sit on the Left side for the best views. Left seats face northwest on departure from Marrakech, offering immediate views of the High Atlas Mountains as the aircraft climbs. The range dominates the landscape north of the airport and remains visible for the first 15–20 minutes of flight. Notable sights include: High Atlas Mountains (snow-capped peaks visible in winter/spring), Anti-Atlas foothills to the south, Marrakech medina and surrounding plains, Haouz Plain extending eastward.

When landing at Lisboa (LIS), sit on the Right side for the best views. Right seats face northeast during approach to Lisbon, providing views of the Tagus River estuary, the city itself, and the Atlantic coastline. The river's distinctive wide mouth and the urban sprawl of greater Lisbon are prominent visual features during final descent. Notable sights include: Tagus River estuary and delta, Lisbon city center and Baixa district, Atlantic Ocean coastline, Sintra hills (northwest of city).
