The right side looks north toward flat Maasai steppe. On runway 25 the geometry reverses but the mountain is still predominantly to the south, favoring left. Notable sights include: Kilimanjaro summit (Kibo crater and Uhuru Peak snowfields), Mawenzi jagged eastern peak, Arusha National Park forest belt on the lower slopes, Maasai steppe savanna stretching south.
